My Time Sport Fishing

Enjoying our stay in Captiva Florida with Mary, Bill, Kirk, Joan, Paul, Linda, Laura, Drew, Pepi and David!  Quite the crew in a very nice spot.  First night here, it was great fishing off the dock, then a cold front arrived and shut it all down.  Fished next day in the boats.  A bit slow fishing.  Fished Monday and it was a bit windy, but after the purchase of a local fishing chart we found some trout holes on the Pine Island side across the sound.  Caught many trout, redfish, snook, two bonnet head sharks and had a great afternoon. Tuesday we took all three boats out with Mary, David, Kirk & Bill, Paul & Linda.  Great day of trout fishing, most were 13 to 14 1/2 inches and didn't meet the minimum of 15".  Still had some to clean though. After the cold front, the fishing picked back up at the dock.  Fishing was very consistent in the trout holes, but fishing for redfish on the flats has been tough.
