We've made it to Spanish Cay and It's a very nice place... layed back, and quiet, but I like it. Bertram ran great.. Trey would like our slip here, there's a boat load of cute young girls next door to meet......maybe next time Trey. Laura would love the beautiful water, and Pepi would love the quiet solitude.

We miss you, and everyone got here safetly today.

OK.... SO I'VE BEEN WORKING TOO HARD ON THE BOAT LIST!
I'm staying pretty busy in OPCM waiting for the rest of the crew to come down and go over to the Bahamas.... Wilson and I really aren't going that stir crazy. Here's just a partial list of some of the items I've been working on:

• Removed old caulking on flybridge, inside and out.
• Taped off all joints and recaulked with 5200 and I really did find 5300 ways to get it on me and my clothes.
• Waxed different portions of the boat each day after using abrasive fiberglas cleaner on it first.... have to wax different areas based on where the sun is located.
• Recaulked generator deck hatch
• Used woody's wax on various metals including the fighting chair
• cleaned and waxed the strata glass curtains... still not sure which one works best, the insulator wax or plexis wax cleaner... tests in process.
• Reworked many lures and rigged some new ones based on fishing reports in the Bahamas.
• Added various food items and drinks to inventory for enjoyment of rest of crew.
• Found location for "dry-ice" and checking on bait inventories.
• Changed one very difficult generator oil filter and topped it off.
• General engine room cleaning a vaccumming since major exhaust work in Sea Island, GA.
• Oiled teak floor twice and installed some additional teak plugs.
• Kicked wilson around the cockpit some as he is good for nothing else.
• Touched up nicks in boat with gel coat scratch patch
• Touched up some of the painted areas at helm control
• Installed new LED lights in cockpit to match the ones at the helm, and they look pretty good! Not as bright as the other ones, but I like the light.
• Replaced heavy duty tackle center spring lid retainers... much safer now for little ones and big ones.
• Installed special coil hose holder in cockpit and new hose, as other one got a pin hole leak.
• Installed 2 additional rod holders at helm.
• Had a DRINK!

Hilton Head Terminal Tackle Rigging Party......and of course the award ceremony to Dr. Dave for his courage, fortitude, and determination while removing an impaled hook in his friends hand.

Intended Destination May 31, 2006 with our friends from Hilton Head. Their boats (Play'n Thru, & First Light) and captains with crew crossing over Tuesday or Wednesday to spend a couple of days at Spanish Cay, and then Elbow Cay. We hope the fish are biting!
