Up on the Hill for bottom paint and waxing

We're told it will only take about 3 days.... Based on Experience, it will be a week.  Prove me wrong, and I'll be happy!  She gets mighty dirty in the yard.

HILTON HEAD WAHOO SHOOTOUT 2013  Fishing with Dr. Hennessey for 3 solid days.  First 2 days (March 29th, 30th) which we were able to pick the days to fish, ended up back to back, since we ran out of calendar time.  Whew!  We worked the cockpit "Very Hard", no wahoo, but several bites, we caught some trouble when fishing for some fun amberjack, and landed some other fish which weren't on the tournament agenda.  We thought we were doing something right, it was just a matter of time.  It was slow for everyone.  

The few people who landed a fish, only had the single bites. The "delayed" selected fish day by the tournament directors was Sunday, April 14th, a beautiful morning running out at 3:30 AM, but nastier in the afternoon on the trip in, blowing probably 15 knots, but on our aft.  Blew-out a lower unit (again, 2nd in this series of fishing), and a tension pulley and belt on the 2nd of 3 motors before we caught the nice 51.7 lb wahoo seen in the video below. The "MCgivering that took place later to fix the motor to get back in by weigh in was a big story in itself, left to tell another time.

Oh, don't forget about the knot heads we caught and released by the towner.  (Tom, YES indeed, it is the tower made famous by some and others even put it on T-Shirts!)
