Bull Reds Schooling on the Flats !

September 23 2012. Went out at bottom of the tide and enjoyed finding a great spot to fish for Reds on the flats. Lot's of bait, sharks, mullet, and dolphin (at the edge) working the whole area. This was my first real time of finding big schools of Bull Reds on the flats. Tried fishing with a live mullet, but they wouldn't take it. As soon as I cut it in half, the reds gulp it up. Broke off two before I realized I needed to beef up the string a little. Schools were made up of about 20 or 30 fish. I am hooked on hunting bull reds, what a fight on light tackle in 12" of water. The water was extremely clear for September, but it was obviously due to the incoming tide. (Sorry for the picture quality, I was in a hurry to land and release this one so I could get back to have lunch with the family in Savannah!).
