Back to fishing off Hilton Head July 1st and 4th. Both trips to the gulf stream 70 to 80 miles.... the blue water is a long way out compared to our recent fishing in the Bahamas where the water is crystal clear at the dock. Both our trips so far this month were great trips multiple catches mahi-mahi in the 15 to 18 lb range and some beautiful snapper caught on light tackle off the bottom in our chum slick. We even had 2 x-large cobia swimming laps around the boat as we set out the chum. Look carefully and you can seem them under the bow.
